For New Students
If you are new to yoga, please review the following points:
1) Yoga is practised barefoot, in comfortable clothes that allow movement.
2) Lessons are usually finished with relaxation and meditation, I recommend taking a sweatshirt and socks with you. Also is awesome to have something with you to cover your eyes while doing Savasana.
3) All yoga props (mat, blanket) are available at the studio.
(indoor classes)
4) About 2 hours before yoga class, is not recommended to eat heavy, spicy foods. It is also not recommended to drink coffee and strong black tea immediately before the lesson. i
5) It is common to make a touch correction during physical practice. If body contact is uncomfortable for you, let me know in advance. Anyway, I am not a big fan of rough and many adjustments.
6) You don’t need a shower right after yoga classes. A cold or hot bath can disrupt the internal processes of the started practice.
7) In the early stages of pregnancy (up to 12 weeks), open yoga classes are not suitable, as well as in the first sixth weeks after giving birth. If necessary, choose individual lessons. If you insist on attending classes, you are here at your personal risk.
8) In the first three days of your period, I do not recommend practising inverted positions (as a headstand, shoulder stand, etc.). Don’t be shy to tell me when you are on your period.
9) Recent surgeries (incl. C -section) that have taken place in the last 3 months must be notified to me in advance.
Dhanjavad (thank you)!
